Happy Dance


DANCING TO THE SAME DRUM

When we dance, we express ourselves, and when we dance with others, we connect with each other. Feeling the sounds & rhythm of music, channelled movement in our bodies, allows the release of endorphins that can make us happier and which also have been shown to have positive effects on our health. It can even keep us active into older age and promote longevity.

Stress affects our health and ability to enjoy life. So, socialising with friends, having a few drinks and a bit of a shake on the dance floor can work wonders for bringing back our joy. Hence why thousands flock to places like Ibiza for a bit of hedonistic cutting loose.

There's evidence to show that moving in crowds with synchronicity to a beat, can help us to form bonds with others and as this link suggests, dancing gives our bodies greater connections to the soul.
